Help, computer is on but the screen won't show?

New built computer wont show anything on the screen Help?

  • Answer:

You have ram in there right? (Sorry, I had to ask.) Does it POST? Did you double and triple check everything to make sure its assembled correctly? What does it do when you hit the power button? ---- 1. What BIOS version do you have? It needs to be at least v0503 to support that CPU. 2. Make sure the graphics card is on a 12V rail by itself: it seems you bought a PSU with two 12V rails that have only 12A each. That card at load will use that all by itself. 3. Double-check all the connections. Pull out the motherboard manual and walk yourself through the installation again. 4. Are you getting any beep codes? Is it trying to post? 5. Is the ram snapped in correctly? If its a dual channel set, are the sticks in the right spot? 6. Can you test any components on a different computer? You might have to RMA something.

Well first thing you need to do is insert the Video card in other slot if this not work try to clean the x16 slot if this not work then carefully de-attach the motherboard and check the x16 slots pins if and pin is broken then go to service center for repair if not check the ram and if still not then your check video card on another system
