What are some good websites where you can create your own layout?

How do you create a website in visual basic?

  • Ok, i want to create a website which is in metro style, please tell me if it is possible...... so i want to create it using visual basic ( let me no if there are any different softwares i can use) so i have no idea how to put in the codes and all for that... please help me... i already made a layout in metro style.... please tell me if there are any websites which have metrostyle in them and u no please give me links to tutorials.......thank you

you need to learn html and css for creating web pages. does not matter which style it is in. visual basic only helps you to do some advanced stuff like connecting to database and pull out the information from there etc. if that is what you are looking for you can use vb.net (visual basic for .net framework). asp.net is a web framework from microsoft which you can use to develop websites. c# (c sharp) is the most common language used than vb.net. usually it is more easy to find tutorials in c# than vb.net. you can probably start from here: http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/1346/Beginning-ASP-NET-using-VB-NET. you can find lot of video tutorials from microsoft's websites.. http://www.asp.net/web-forms/pluralsight it is better to start learning from book (asp.net for beginners) which guide you through the steps. http://www.amazon.com/Beginning-ASP-NET-Using-VB-NET-Ullman/dp/1861005040
