How do I disable my email on my blackberry?

Blackberry Bold 9900 Question?

• Hi, i recently switched from an iphone 4 to a blackberry bold 9900 on at&t and i have noticed something very bad that i dont like at all. My new 9900 is using WAY too much data. You see i am on a 200mb data limit (yes i know it blows) and ive already gone over it within a week. That would never happen on my iphone. I am now about to go over it again within another week and a half and i have no idea how. I cant keep doing this and yes i do set all my applications to NOT refresh. i have to refresh them manually. I really dont do anything other than use bbm every like 20 mins and i get on facebook like every 2 hours. Im pretty sure thats not the problem. Could it be my messages application set up to my email? i get like 6 emails a day on that and if that may be it, how do i disable my email? Please someone tell me. It seems like this phone uses data by itself. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!! Thanks! :)
