How to tell my parents im dating a half black guy?

I'm trying to figure out a way to tell them because they aren't big on the whole bi-racial dating thing. They aren't completely against it, but they aren't all for it. What I don't understand thought is the fact that I am bi-racial. I am half white and half middle eastern so this doesn't make any sense to me, so please if you have any ideas please help :)
