What to do when guy asks for number and you don't want to say no?

  • basically a guy asked my number then texed me his while i was there so i couldn't say no and i didnt want to say no because i felt bad so what do i do in this situation in the future without saying no and without giving fake number (not poss in this situation) without feeling bad because i feel really regretful now because i think hell keep texting me we were talking for like an hour on the train and we got on so i felt bad not giving it and i felt like i had been leading him on by talking.

Tell him you don't have a phone/don't have texting. Or just say nicely that you don't give your number out to strangers, but tell him it was nice talking to him and you really think he's an interesting person.
