How To Save Your Relationship?

My girlfriend constantly directs stupid comments at me, how can I stop this and save my relationship?

• Together for 8 months, semi broke up 3 times, the 3rd time it was for 12 days, she continues to joke around in ways where its degrading, a put down, for example...if Im on my phone retrieving an e-mail or reading a text from someone, her comment is "tell your girlfriend to stop texting you cuz you're with me". If I ask her who is she texting or what is she doing on her phone, her response is " I"m talking to my boyfriend". Another comment she says is "I don't have to tell you who I'm talking to cuz its none of your business, yet if I turn the table, she'll say "well then stay with that b*tch, you guys are all the same". She jokes around with her co-workers about things that won't get them upset nor create an argument because its her co-workers. They could care less because they know how she is. I'm not part of that category if you will, I'm her boyfriend. We argue for the stupidest things that doesn't make sense and I don't provoke the fights. Instead I shower her with love, affection, respect, I do stuff for her to help her in every way possible. I go above and beyond the expectations for her. I've come to learn that she's never loved before, Doesn't know how to love, care and respect due to her past bad relationships she's had in her past. So I question why do I have to pay the price for what happened to her, guys using her as a sex object (she would dress very provocatively, making herself the easy target. being with different guys every 3 months or so). Should I fault her for being like this? Yet she says she wants to be happy, she wants a man to treat her right. She's tired of the same old routine of what guys do and the one thing they want? But if she portrays herself to be easy based on how she dresses, how she is in public, then yes guys will look at her that way, and it's what I've explained to her on many occasions and she takes offense to it. She also stresses deeply on things that are not important, She's depressed due to what she's gone thru with her kids who are now grown. It's come to the point where we are physically and verbally arguing and we always work it out having make up sex, and to be honest, it's coming to a point where it's having no meaning but I'm choosing to continue trying to make the effort in saving this relationship. She's also said to me if we don't work out, she will stay single cuz she doesn't want to know about guys and want to focus on her kids yet the other day she says she will never be single that she will be out there looking for a guy to hook up with. That makes me feel like she doesn't want to make the effort, chooses to just move on and do what she was doing prior to meeting with me. That really saddens me and I don't know how to handle that comment. So I need help in determining whether I should continue this or end it before it gets any worse.

  Tell her to have a working relationship, you both have to put in effort. And if you don't like those comments tell her how its degrading all the time. She will understand, and the relationship should continue easily from there! GOOD LUCK!
