How to ask a guy to hang out?

• So basically I like this guy and I think he might like me too so I came up with this plan: we have this one close mutual friend who the guy likes me teases me about because he thinks (the mutual friend) likes me so I was thinking if I talk to the mutual friend who possibly have a crush on me if I could get him to ask me to hang out I could then go to my friend (the guy I like ) and be like so ____ asked me to hang out do u mind doing me a favor and hang out with us? (because he knows that I dont like our mutual friend in that way) so he's probably be like yeah sure! (well hopefully lol) so then basically the three of us would hang out and then I'd talk to the guy I like in private and be like thank you so much for coming with me maybe we can hang out sometime just the two of us... Soooo what do u think good or bad plan? And how can I get the mutual friend to ask me to hang out? Thankss :)

  very bad plan unless your end game is to lose both of them. Manipulating peoples emotions and using people to gain what you want is wrong. Be honest and maybe you can salvage something. My suggestion for the guy you like is to go to his house, with a big boombox. Play 80's Love Rock and he will come out smiling and ask you on a date.
