How to start a conversation with clients?

How should I start a conversation with this girl?

I am taking driver's education this week and I am taking it at this high school. There is this girl there that is really pretty and nice, however, I haven't talked to her yet and don't know how I should start a conversation with her. She goes to the school that is hosting the driver's education and I go to a different school. I thought today I could start a conversation by asking her whether she knows some of my friends that go to her school. However, I thought it was stupid and I didn't do it. I don't sit next to her in class, so I can't talk to her then. But, we do have ten minute breaks and a 30 min lunch during the sessions. Tomorrow is the last day and I really want to start talking to her and even get her number. How should I approach her and start a conversation with her?

that sounds like a decent Idea, but I would start out by saying like hey, then do you go to this school??, Oh I go to blah blah HS. I would then ask her about how this school is, you could then keep your original idea in the back of your head in case the conversation starts dying out, Oh, and you could sit by her at lunch if you don't know anybody else that well, and that would get you a good excuse to say your not from this school, etc. by asking about her school like I mentioned, your staying with a broad topic, so it should be fairly easy to keep the conversation going (I mean there are like endless possiblities you could go from here, you could talk about the teachers, or if she plays and sports, etc.) Then you could get her #. That's good, because that way she would know from the start that you are interested in being more than friends with her. "Hey, I lost my number, can I have yours?" ;) LOL...okay, in all seriousness, just go up and ask "hey, you go to (insert school here), right? Do you know (start naming your friends). Then ask her if she has friends that go to your school. Or talk about the driver's ed class. As for asking for her number...idk how you'd wanna go about that. The last time a guy I barely knew asked for my number, he was just like "Hey, so, I don't normally do this...but can I have your phone number?" Worked for me!
