How to make my room look EMO?

How Can I make my bedroom look more emo/scene?

  • I really love the emo look but I don't consider myself emo I just love the scene/emo appearance. Any tips on how to make my bedroom more emo? I've heard about putting up pictures and posters of your favorite bands (My Chemical Romance, P!atd, Black Veil Brides and Fall out Boy) but I havn't put any up yet. At the moment I have glossy purple and white furniture, a double bed with black headboard and black and white New York bedsheets. The walls are painted white and the carpet is cream. I also have a new york mural which is quite colorful. I really don't want this change to be sudden but I want to get the look in my bedroom <3 Thanks, p.s. I don't really consider myself as emo, I just find the look really cool

    i was in exactly the same situation as you! my bedroom was and still is pink *shudders* but basically i put up posters but put them as if they were one giant poster with no gaps in the middle. also i convinced my parents to let me write on one if my walls (you can ether write on the wall or put up strips of paper) and i write song lyrics all over it :) black curtains are good as well. also if you have just a standard triangle lampshade, buy some black feathers from a craft shop and stick them around them edge and sprinkle some glitter over the lampshade. hope this helped xxx p.s. i love those bands as well!!!!
