Are constant headaches a cause for high blood pressure?
-
I've checked my blood pressure, not in a doctor's office but at one of those machines that are in drug and grocery stores and I've checked several times before and it's always high. Plus I always have headaches that there seem to be no cure for I've seriously taken everything for it and nothing seems to work. Is it because of my blood pressure? I don't have insurance so I can't go to a doctor so I'm not sure what to do about that

Answer:
The reverse, head aches are a symptom of high blood pressure for some people. Don't play the "I don't have insurance card" If you have high blood pressure and it goes unfixed it WILL kill you. It puts you are risk for high cholesterol, heart disease, and cardiomyopathy. All of which are again fatal. Go get health insurance. Start exercising and eat a lot better than you do now. Change your lifestyle or it will be the death of you. Also both things could be a symptom of something else as well. You are still better off going in for a physical. Free clinics do exist. -Connor

Your blood pressure being high is what probably causes the headaches - not the other way around. http://www.livestrong.com/article/15805-does-high-blood-pressure-cause/ Look at natural ways to bring down blood pressure. http://www.prevention.com/health/health-concerns/13-ways-lower-blood-pressure-naturally

You don't state what your readings are. HBP does not usually have symptoms but headaches can be a factor if you truly have high BP, you need to be on medication which means seeing a doctor

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

they DO NOT have to perform a c-section.... I was induced an dhad my first vaginally... my bp went from 112/68 ( highest it was all pregnancy to SPIKING in 2 weeks to 147/101) a gradual rise is not unheard of, it is def the asue of headaches, you need to take it easy rest relax, feet up, eat low sodium foods, and drink lots of water, low sugar... low bp can also cause headaches and faintness, i have been sitting aroun 95/54 this pregnancy which is just as uncomfy! I wish you the best of luck, please research high bp and try to following some of the chnages they suggest as far as diet, slight exercise (walk 20 minutes a day) rest and relaxaition!
