Constant nausea and loss of appetite. Help?

Can somebody help diagnose this medical condition? PLEASE read! Help me!?

  • I tried to make this as short as possible. sorry D: Please help if you can, and tell me what's wrong with my health! What my everyday life is generally like, if this will help: -i'm a 14 yr. old female. -5' tall -about 105-107 lbs -vegetarian but I still eat a LOT of fish and dairy products. -wake up at 5 AM every morning, try to go to bed at 10 pm. but usually fall asleep later -I am currently taking Vyvanse for suspected ADD. it helped my concentration and my mood in the mornings, but kills my appetite -usually skip breakfasts and lunch b/c of lack of time and my medicine -I also drink very little water b/c I'm never thirsty & it makes me feel sick. I am changing this now, I think it is really a problem. -i've only just started really exercising, and I still don't exercise much because my heart feels like it'll explode(that's more of a figure of speech). lots of stretches to improve flexibility, & very mild cardio once every 3-5 days. Usually I run on a treadmill, then sit-ups & pushups(abt. 10-15 each) Just 3 min. at running pace gets my pulse WAY up -also have a history of GOD AWFUL periods: REALLY bad cramps, possibly mild nausea, and only occasionally severe nausea and vomiting. Almost always heavy. -also dealing with a lot of stress: mostly b/c I'm worried about my medical condition, but also a pile-up of social insecurities, family issues, constant arguments, school work, and my fear of becoming dependent on my medicine -I've always been a bit lazy and carefree and a champion procrastinator, but I'm really trying to fight against that recently. -normally i'm a really nice and tolerant person. I still haven't made any enemies at school. but I've definitely been less patient with people lately -Also, if it matters: never drank, never smoked, never had sex. -->>>>> okay, now I'll just state symptoms that I think are abnormal. please tell me what these could mean and what i can do!!!! I'm so scared right now... -high heart rate: 80+ at rest -heart rate is also very heavy and keeps me awake at night -sometimes I feel like my heartbeat beats irregularly, but I'm not entirely sure. -after just a little exercise, my heart beat goes WAY up and I have difficulty breathing, tight chest feeling, and a some difficulty breathing. -severe dizziness, bad balance, and temporary blindness when standing or stretching... this scares me a lot -difficulty breathing, constant yawning -uncomfortable feeling in chest, usually when sitting in school: sometimes pressure, but usually I feel like I'm not getting enough air and I breathe in deeply until it hurts. I think it may be because I suddenly 'notice' my breathing and somehow feel like I need to breathe deeper, but I think my respiratory rate has gone up slightly. -insomnia, I think due to stress and my heavy heart rate keeping me up -muscle fatigue and soreness, maybe due to lack of sleep -slight loss of concentration(even with medicine). I don't think I'm thinking totally straight, either. -headaches: I think they're more frequent than normal, but they're not very intense -the past few days have been especially hard, i've just been feeling really depressed, alone, hopeless, and pessimistic. I've noticed I'm a little more impatient and aggressive towards people. PLEASE somebody help me. I'm really scared right now and I need to know how to get better. Thanks to everyone in advance.

  • Answer:

You do realize there is a corralation between all of your listed symptoms, right? EVERYTHING you listed comes back to that lack of sleep. Your heart is keeping you awake at night because youre thinking about it. Trust me, i have the same problem some nights. The word for it is like 'cardophobia' or something of the like, when you worry about your heart. Ill have nights where ill be tossing and turning in bed, worried that my heart will stop. Of course, this is underestimating the human body. The heart, brain, and lungs are fantastic workers, they really do amazing jobs. As for the fatigue, etc from exercising, that would definitely be because you have only recently started being physically active, so your body isnt used to that kind of routine. Again, im the say way, i basically never exercise outside of gym class (other than bowling =p), but you will start to get used to it. Just be sure to get an adiquete amount of sleep at the very least, and quit worrying about hese things, that'll only progress the situation further. Best of luck, and i hoped this helped!
