How much does a package containing a dress weigh?

Trying to lose weight for my confirmation! Help?

  • I'm a 13 year old girl (5'3) who's trying to lose weight for my confirmation (May 21rst) I currently weigh 130 pounds. I'd like to get down to 120 or less :) Here's what I usually eat: Breakfast: Fibre 1 cereal (or cereal containing over 30% fibre) Lunch: Turkey, ham, or soy butter (replacement for peanut butter) sandwich with whole wheat bread and a granola bar After school snack: A handful of almonds and sometimes an apple After Workout: Fruit Smoothie Dinner: Usually lean chicken breast, an apple and carrots After school (around 4) I do the Jillian Michaels Workout DVD (currently doing the 30 day shred, level 2) Monday I'm adding the Ripped in 30 DVD because I'm not losing much weight from the video. Once I finish the 30 day shred, I'm alternating between two of her DVDs: Banish Fat and Boost Metabolism and Killer Thighs and Buns. Sometimes I also swim for an hour and a half non-stop usually leading me to a 2k swim. Only thing is that I'm picky so I don't eat many vegetables. I eat celery, carrots and broccoli. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong! Please don't tell me to be a kid and have fun, I just want to look good in my dress. Any suggestions? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance!

    your actually doing great, good job! Well from what i read, it sounds like something good to maintain yourself in good shape, if your really dedicating yourself to it you should see some improvement. Swimming is a good excercise i recommend you to do it more often, also why not have a 30 minute jog here and there..or if your looking for something more challenging do interval training called HIIT, it helped me alot! Your diet is ok i suppouse, your a teenager so that shouldnt play a big role. Keep up the good work.

It seems like you have a good diet and exercise routine! It's hard for teens to lose weight especially when they're growing. Don't start any unhealthy habits! I wouldn't worry about your weight!

Your at a age where its hard to lose the perfect amount of wait because your hormones are changing and it messes everything up, Try to run more , running is one of the easiest ways to lose weight, also don't eat at night before bed, and if you run right before you go to bed it'll turn on your body's metabolism and you'll be burning calories while sleeping :) Hope i helped , also if your trying to lose weight in a certain place on your body try to work out those parts more ! You'll be good in no time , Just don't get too skinny stay at a healthy skinny !
