Hi there, I have just recovered from a cartilage issue with my knee and have been out of exercise for some time now so have become out of shape. I am looking to start getting back into fitness and I am looking for the quickest results to gain quick muscle growth (Arms and abs mainly) and to loose a little bit of body fat (currently 31%). I have been looking and for muscle growth i will be using a side additive of protein shakes to aid the muscle repair, however i was wondering if there are any other additives that would be recommended for the weight loss or also for the muscle growth. If anyone has any tips regarding any of the things i have mentioned or any tips on routines or techniques which are good to use for the muscle gain, i have a weight set in my shed and access to a lot of open spaces. For that torn-up cartilage, he's probably want you taking gluatamine - an amino acid. 5 to 10 grams a day (one or two teaspoons). You just put the powder in water and drink it down. That is great for recovering from stuff like that - but it's also really good to be taking before an operation, as he says, so that you heal up faster. Anyway - take a look. Glutamine is cheapest in powdered form - you can get it from Puritan Pride over the net. It's also good for growing big muscles if you're lifting regularly.
