What is the best way for me to loose weight?

Ok,so I'm 16 and I weight about 12 stone 8 pounds, (179 pounds I think..) and I'm about 5 ft 7-8. I know I am not hugely over weight, and I do carry my weight well, but I do need to loose a few pounds after looking at my holiday photos from two years ago and seeing how this I was! Any tips? I still live with my parents, and they do cook healthy food, I know I need to cut down snacking and when I do ensure it's healthy, but is there anything else in terms of exercise? SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE. THANKS!

id say to hit the gym... do weight training high reps for 45 mins an directly after do cardio exercise for 30-40 mins you will burn a lot of carbs, and also burn a lot of fat once u get into the cardio.... and also do 10 mins of abs.. an reduce your carbs an processed foods eat more lean proteins an vegetables, if u cannot make it to the gym do spartan workout from U tube an go on jogs

yes, you do want to lose this little bit extra. Easy - just cut out all the junk, and move. Any kind of exercise at all - dance, run, walk, swim, cycle, zumba, whatever you enjoy. easily done when mum is cooking, so just be careful - smaller portions, no sweets, no biscuits. In a few months the excess 10lb or so should be gone.

Go jogging at least 3 times a week and eat a hell of a lot of apples as a snack. Trust me on this you'll notice a huge difference

well when i wanted to tone up my muscles i decided to drink two bottles of water a day. i also did some toning excersises. i lost about 8 pounds in 3/4months. that doesnt necessarily mean you will too. you might lose less or more. your body will react differently to it. i did exercises such as crunches, sqauts, arm lifting weights and a bit of either running/dancing or jumping jacks. (sad i know but it worked for me) FOR stomach, http://www.wikihow.com/Do-Crunches FOR butt/legs http://www.wikihow.com/Do-a-Squat FOR arms (just lift something slightly heavy. mind your back.) p.s. do not measure yourself all the time. you must only measure every 2 weeks or 3/4. or once a month if you prefer. dont expect too much lost too soon. it goes at different paces for every one.
