Why are random letters inserted in my tmux session?

NYU Information Session?

  • I have gotten 1,000+ emails so far and plenty more things in the mail from Colleges nationally. I am in my Junior Year of High School. This week, I got a little card in the mail for an NYU information session. How selective are schools with sending these things? I would like to know if there is any way of me distinguishing between the more general letters and emails and the personal ones for colleges that actually would like me to apply to. I have a very strong record and very very high GPA. Thank You. All advice and help is appreciated:)!

  • Answer:

They will only recruit you if they actually want you. It costs money for them to mail things, so they do not mail them to everyone. I received them from USC, NYU, and U Michigan. They will tell you then and there why they recruited you, and it's always a select pool who do get recruited. If there's a school you really like that did then you should definitely go and check it out. You should get in on their summer programs, and programs for high school students. You have a great chance to make connections and get better relationships for graduate school recommendations. Keep at it!

they all want you to apply. This is just advertisements. It has nothing to do with you being accepted into the school. Doesn't matter if they are a letter, pamphlet or email. Just advertisement. My daughter was getting mail from colleges every single day her junior and senior year
