What are some good colleges for a film making major?

Would colleges considere this bragging/ showiness?

• I have to make a film portfolio to apply to the film programs at a few colleges. I am currently working on a commercial for my high school video production class. I'm making a car commercial with my dad's car in it, and it's a rather very expensive car. I was thinking of including this in my portfolio for college because it is one of my few high quality examples of my work. I don't intend on saying that it is my dad's car, but I'm afraid colleges will view this as being pretentious and showy. What do you think?

  Can you just say that it was a car commercial? You should be judged on the quality of the commercial, not the quality of the car. If they do ask, you can just brush it off and admit that it is a nice car and that you were lucky to have filming access to it. If they really notice your dad's car, they can interpret it in two ways: 1. I guess he doesn't need a lot of financial aid. 2. If he's smart, who cares about his money. Best of luck to you!
