What does it mean when a patent fee status has lapsed?

Cal State LA questions..?

  • Does anyone know what CSULA's out of state acceptance rate is like? Also, I applied in late October of this year and it gave me a site to go to, to check my application status. For a long time my application status was at 'complete' but suddenly it to turned to incomplete and I don't know what is incomplete about it. I sent in the fee, SATS, and everything else they asked for. I even called but it was so hard to deal with them and they didn't really seem to understand. They gave me a long list of things I could TRY submitting. Anyhow, I kind of gave up and just hoped that it was a mistake. Just a few days ago I got an email from them saying that they recieved my app and that they are now reviewing them and that they'll send out acceptance letters in february. I thought this might mean that my status got changed back to complete, but the site is down and its has been now for a week at least. So I have no idea what my application's status. It says my application wont be reviewed for accepted until it is marked as complete, but it also says I have until February complete anything left incomplete on my application. Anyways, has this ever happened to you? I don't really know what do. Any advice or ideas would be great! Thanks!

  • Answer:

The Cal State schools are OK but are not worth the money for paying the out of state tuition rates. The state budget cuts have made going there an exercise is frustration when you try to sign up for courses. For what it costs to go there from out of state, you can pretty well go to a private school like Chapman. At least at the private schools it is easier to get a scholarship.
