Football Manager 2012 : Editor Question?
-
My Question: I was using the fm12 editor and created a database with it and then created an actual saved file on the game itself and played it, but I wanted to make some changes to it and did but I can't / don't know how to apply them to the game I'm playing itself, is it possible to apply the changes without having to start a new game, if so, can you me some instructions on how to do it (easy to follow) if not, is there any other solutions. Also what's the between the football manager 2012 editor and the football manager real time 2012 editor, would I be able to apply the changes using the real time editor, if so where can I download it, and how could I do it, if not, what would recommed I do, any other solutions? Thanks, sorry it's so long don't want to start again :p PLEASE REPLY

Answer:
The "Real time editor" can be used to edit a game whilst you're playing it... The data editor is only for creating new databases, once you've started playing a game on that database you cannot edit the current saved file... any changes you make on the database using the normal editor will only take effect if you load up a new game with that database. The only way you're not going to have to start a new game is by getting the Real Time Editor... which is a bit of a shame seeing as it's no longer free... >_>

No you've got to start a new game with the updated database as that is only the starting Point for the game and many things will have changed in just a few game days.
