Can you buy an unset amount of Microsoft Points?

  • Hey everyone I would like to change my gamertag and it cost 800 MSP (Microsoft Points). I currently have 790 MSP. Is it possible to just buy 10 MSP? Cause I'm not going to spend $10 for 10 MSP. And if there is any confusion: $10 USD = 800 MSP which I think is the lowest set points you can buy (Correct me if im wrong). Which I would spend to change it. Because thats the lowest it goes (In card form). But I would rather spend $1 for 80 MSP than $10. Anyways thanks for the help! Have a nice day!

    There are some deals with xbox live rewards, if you go on their site. Basically, if you do certain things, like do surveys or refer friends or update your live subscription, you get some extra points. For example, for the last month if you joined the rewards system you would've gotten like 300 MS points for free. I think that deal expired though, but i'm sure there's many more opportunities.

Nope you can only buy the set amounts of Microsoft points which sucks. Maybe you can buy 800 points and use those points to buy more things.
