PS3 or Xbox 360 Which one is better?

PS3 is NOT the best for online gaming, so don't get Battlefield or Call of Duty if you plan to play online. I own both, and I buy multiplayer games on Xbox and single player games on PS3. It works great.

I currently own both consoles and play my PS3 a hell of a lot more than the xbox, this is my second xbox as i sold my first one because i got bored of it, dont get me wrong they are both great consoles and each have their own qualities that the other does not have, for example, the PS3 has free online gaming whereas you pay £40 a year for on xbox and xbox has party chat which the ps3 does not. Personally i would have to say i preffer the PS3 however i will also say thati dont advise selling your xbox because you will most likely want one back like i did but its your choice.

ask your self that do you really need a console? you have a 360 and running after a another console which is same as the 360. try new games if you're getting tired of the system. ever tried these games on the 360:. *bully scholarship edition *hitman blood money *wwe '12 *assassins creed series *saints row series *red dead redemption the complete edition *mass effect series these games should entertain you for a year.

I have both. There pretty much the same except for some of the games and you have pay to play online with the xbox. With the Ps3 the only thing i can think of is that you cant have a little avatar guy. I Prefer the Ps3. Hope this Helps.

Xbox360, i used to have a ps3 i hated it, even though you do have to pay to play $60 yearly to play,microsoft stops from behind hacked, ps3 got hacked for almost a month, plus ALOT more players

xbox is much better...i was a playstation guy for 10 years now i would laugh at anyone who still plays ps3...keep your real console

I can't believe people still think the XBox is better. I'm not being bias here. If anything, I'm the type to get all the consoles instead of restricting myself to one or two like an idiotic fanboy. Note that the PS3 and 360 are roughly the same thing, so I won't even go there. A few games have better effects on one or the other console, but who cares, right? Here is exactly why the PS3 is 'better', value-wise: 1. BluRay(More space, more detail for the PS3 gamer) Look at what happened to RAGE and FF 13 on 360(Multiple discs and horrid textures because of MSFT's silly dev install rules) 2.Free online play: There is no excuse Microsoft. Also, any system can be hacked. MSFT's servers have been hacked, just not nearly as much. If that hacker had been truly evil, ALL of MSFT's customers(Windows users and 360 users both)would have been screwed out of their secure information. 3. The 360 has absolutely NO 'must-have' exclusives. It once had Alan Wake, but it just came out on the PC. The PS3 has God of War 3, KillZone 3, Infamous series, Uncharted series, Gran Turismo 5, Heavy Rain and Ratchet and Clank, just to name a few. Unless you like Kameo: Elements of Power, the 360 is effectively useless as a gaming console. 4. PS3 = Rarely a hardware failure....ever. 360 = No comment needed. 5. The price! People like to say the 360 is cheaper, and it is, at face value. But when you have to pay yearly to play online, where is your value then? 6. The PS3 has games of all 'cultures', if you will. The 360 seems to cater specifically toward North American FPS gamers. This is one reason I am ashamed at being an NA gamer. People always follow the bandwagon, and it is truly sad. While the 360 has recently improved in this category with a few more JRPGs, all exclusivity deals with MSFT from Japanese publishers have been thrown out the window every time, and the PS3 has always gotten every worth-having JRPG. 7. You can manually replace the HDD in your PS3 after buying it easily. This means you won't have to waste a bunch of money just for a harddrive like you would with the 360's proprietary tech. This can save you around a hundred or so, it seems. There are plenty more reasons, but this is more than enough. Again, I'm not trying to bash the 360, I'm just being honest. MSFT does not care about gamers. Period.
