What were the consequences of the individual signers of the Declaration of Independence and what happened to the lesser-known signers?

  Sombody Phd out there must have some idea about what happened to the men that signed the Declaration on Inependence. This would a great research project for a serious history student. I do not have the means or the ability to pursue a project like this, but I'd sure like to know the answer to this question. The truth in this invistigation might make a great movie. The truth, well nothing happened. They all continued to live normal lives. None were hanged or tortured to death. None were shot by the British. Not sounding like a great movie.
