Really Serious SAFETY Problem With Skype?

  • hi guys, recently i always can find some strange contact had been added to my contact list automatically, but i never received any invetation, and also i already set up my privacy to " only my contact list can send me message or call", but the thing is my skype automatically added stranger on my list, how is that happened? always can find different strangers been added on my contact list, is that my skype got hack? or my computer? or my internet? i do tried offline first then back on online then deleted and block the thing i dont want to see anymore, but its not working at all, first i use skype version for Mac OS X, cant not deleted or block anyone on recent tab i really sick of this, i have to use skype with my husband coz we cant be in same place right now, and i dont want anyone on my list coz i set up automatically answer the call for my contact list, always sick disguesting man out there talking about sex, do you guys think i got hacked????? or someone else got same problem????is that bcoz of i was in china now, the internet is not safe??? really really need help, thank you thank you thank you please read it carefully, i said i already set up my privacy setting, its not working, the problem is not they send message ,is AUTOMATICALLY added stranger contact to my contact list without let me know !!!!!!! its skype or something added some people on my contact, i said i never get any invitation or request to be my friend, and somehow they just already added!!!!!!!!!! and which is not by ME

    You have to do is strengthen your Skype Privacy settings: In Skype on Windows, go to Tools->Options; on Macintosh, go to Skype->Preferences Click "Privacy" You'll probably see settings for "chats," "IMs," "calls," "video," "screen sharing," etc. Change all items FROM allowing "anyone" to contact you TO "only people in my Contact list." On Windows, click "Save" at the bottom; on Macintosh, simply close the window That should "close the door" to any stranger trying to contact you using Skype, especially through its instant messaging feature.
