Got rejected to UCLA could I still get into USC or CAL?

UCLA is fairly similar to Cal because of the fact that they're the top 2 UC campuses in the entire system, so they usually see a similar quality and quantity of applicants, meaning that although I wouldn't rule you out, the chances that you could get into Cal dropped unless you were just such an amazing applicant that UCLA thought that there was no possible way that you would ever actually attend UCLA. USC is pretty different because it's a private school and handles its process differently because although it sees a lot of the same kids from California, I would argue that it's out-of-state applicants are of a higher caliber. The two schools, although ranked close to each other and at least right now, fairly academically similar, are hard to compare (private v. public), so I wouldn't say either way on your chances for USC based upon this.

I was in the same boat as you. I got waitlisted for UCLA and was worried about my chances at USC. It turns out I got my acceptance from USC yesterday. So you definitely have a shot at USC.

Cal and UCLA are just two different locations of the same school. Their admission standards will not be a lot different. USC is a totally different organization.
