Do Itunes albums ever go on sale?

I've never heard of any special sales on itunes, but a few times I have seen the prices on albums change drastically. I bought an All Time Low album on itunes from my ipod and it was $4.99. Later I checked itunes on my laptop and the same album was priced at $9.99. I bought another ATL album from itunes on my ipod and it was $3.99 (I thought these were crazy good deals). I just checked itunes again and this album is also $9.99. Sooo, idk if I just happened to buy them while they were on sale or what???
