Can i run these pc games on this computer?

Can pc computer games run on a mac after you install the optional Windows program?

The simplest method is the Bootcamp method, which allows you to install Windows on a different partition (you then startup either in Windows, or OSX). Alternatively you can use a virtual environment like VMWare Fusion, but whilst these are good for developers the Bootcamp approach is simpler and cheaper. Note that in either case though, you do need a legal copy of Windows to install. Also note that you *don't* need a mac for college unless you'll be running specifically OSX-only software (such as Final Cut or Logic). Anything else like the Adobe Suites nowadays have 100% compatibility between platforms.
