How do i legally change my last name?

How can I change my last name legally?

  • I'm ethnically Asian (Japanese, Hmong, Han Chinese, Filipino, Pakistani and Korean) but my family had lived in Mexico before moving to the states so I ended up having a Spanish name and I hate how people don't believe me when I tell them my ethnicity because of my name. I want to change it but don't know the whole process.

I don't know but whoever doesn't believe you is an idiot. There are so many Asian people in Mexico! they usually go to Mexico because it's easier to get into the U.S. from there but a lot just end up staying in Mexico. You shouldn't be ashamed of the last name you were born with. Just tell people your Asian last name if one of your parents has an Asian last name. I'm Mexican and Jewish and I tell people my Jewish last name if people don't believe me...
