How do u post a youtube video or picture?

Is it legal to talk about a company in a youtube video?

  • So I had an idea of buying things, doing a video review on it, put it on youtube, and advertise my website that has a link to buy the product I'm talking about. For instance, let's say I buy a book. I do a review on it, post a link to my website that has amazon affiliate ads to purchase the book. Is it legal to do so? The same goes with anything, like light bulbs, around-the-house stuff etc. I would include the brand name, show the picture of it, etc. Any help? Ok sweet :p Yea, you'd be suprised what people try to find a video for.. For example, if you want to buy this new dirt devil vacuum cleaner, and found it cheap on amazon.. you can read customer reviews on the product.. but you cant actually see the product in action. So I will do a demonstration, show you how it works, how easy it is to assemble/disassemble etc etc. Youtube videos show up in google search results, so if someone is looking for that product, my video may pop up. I like them to my site that also has a brief description of the product, along with my video, and a link to find the cheapest one on amazon.

Yes, it is legal. As long as what you are saying is truthful and not purposely derogatory. Even then, most of the time, any attention is usually good for business. I'm not sure the details of the legality of the links to the website, but as long as they profit and you don't, its probably all right with the company. With youtube though?
