-
My HTC EVO 3D has been receiving text messages late . ( 10min-1 hour late ) . I plan to factory reset set the phone to see if the problem is resolved . Is there a way I can save my pictures , apps, music , and texts ? If I take my SD card out will everything be saved ? Is there any other way i can fix my phone to get messages on time ?

Answer:
Android Core is absolutley right, but you can save your contacts to the memory card too. You'll need to go to "People" then press the "Menu" button then go to "Import/Export" and select "Export to SD card." It might ask you what you want to sync (contacts in phone or google contacts), select Contacts in phone. Then it moves them all. You'll do the reverse process "Export from SD card" and select All to get them back after the reset.

I suggest this reverse phone lookup service: http://www.youtips.info/r/rd.asp?gid=179 It's a cheap service that works great! It could be used for a much deeper search. You can use it to get hold of different varieties of background reports, and in addition cell numbers, addresses and names.. you can get unlimited reports... I ran with this because I required to verify more numbers. You can get the name, other phone number, address history, relatives, and much more about anyone! The completly free reverse phone lookup generally doesn't provide anything interesting. To get interesting information, money will must be paid. The free searches don't provide considerably more than what may be found through the phone directory. The reverse phone detective search tool does work, but you should use just the service that I posted above. The last thing you want to do, is pay for a service and find the numbers you want to lookup are not available in their directory. The service that I reccomend doesn't have any kind of problem , you won't get any bad surprise!
reboot the phone, do a battery pull.. wait 2 min... insert battery... turn on... texts come in on time now???? if not, Call Sprint... its a network issue!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only Sprint can fix it... if you truely honestly, for whatever ungodly reason, you believe its your phone and Sprint is not never ever to blamed... then do a master reset like you said... it will wipe ALL data off the phone. SD card will NOT be touched by the reset. You can move most (NOT ALL) apps to SD card. System apps and app that use system data cannot be moved. Your pics and music and videos are already on the SD card. So nothing has to be moved there. Your texts and contacts will be deleted. Those are saved in the phone itself. Get a SMS back up app and a Contact back up app. AFter all that and you made your back ups, do the master reset... if you still have issues (which I bet my inheritance on) after the master reset... then i guess Sprint has issues.... like i said in step 2
