What is this smooth jazz song?

What is this song called? old school R&B/jazz song vague lyrics?

  • hello all, there's a song i heard a time or two on the radio a while back on a Detroit R&B/jazz station. I cannot find the song because the station recently switched to hip hop and rap... anyway, its a male lead singer (i think its a group), and I *believe* the lyrics at the beginning of the song are "hey lady... hey woman..." then "you've come a long way, baby... woman of the world" throughout the song. That's all i know. Been looking up lyrics and searching but cannot find this song! Additional information: It has old school sound, so I'm guessing 1970's, kind of upbeat happy sounding song, perfect for cruising to on a warm sunny day... lol not much help. The lead singers voice sounds a little like Roy Ayers or Norman Connors. That is all the information I have. Please help! Thanks for reading!
