Can I create an access query that will return an image from a file system?
-
I attempted to right click and didn't see hyperlink as an option anywhere. So, maybe I was not clear enough. I have a request from a user to automate a task that she does. She will make an Excel sheet with Item numbers and information on them. Each item has a picture. They place this picture in the corresponding field. So, Is there a way to automate this process. I have all the info I need in the database, I just need a way to pull the pictures from a file to the query.

Answer:
You need your images stored in one directory and then in the cell that is returned from the query, create a hyperlink ( right click in cell ) to the correct image.
