How do I get better grades?

How can i get better grades?

• i honestly think i have high goals and i am a determined person and i want to work hard.. i try, i think i CAN get the highest grade in my class. i have positive thoughts.. and i am proud. i try and try but im still working. unfortunately i am a bit lazy! how can i help myself get better and higher grades? please, anything would help! i promised myself and my mom to get an A next semester! thanks in advance. ohh btw i have a B- till now :(

  you should take notes in class, if you don't understand something raise your hand and ask a question, I know it sounds dorky but you should do it. One thing, your attitude towards this should be "This is where I'm at, this is where I want to be, how can I get there?" and make steps to improve how you work. Do you spend a lot of time texting, on facebook, watching tv/movies, or things like that? make yourself goals, cut down your tv time and your facebook time, and cut down how many texts you will allow yourself to answer per day. Also, be willing to be corrected, do YOUR best, and don't compare your best with someone else's best. If you compare yourself with someone else and think you can do better than them, when you don't you'll grow frustrated, and possibly harbor bad opinions about them, which will in turn discourage you. Try to find the best place you can study at home, and keep yourself focused when your studying, turn your phone off until you complete a subject and when you're done reward yourself by checking your phone, but don't stop each time you get a text. I think that nearly anyone can obtain A's in school, you just have to be determined and be willing to work your tush off to be able to do it.
