Why does my eye hurt?

Why does my left eye hurt?

  • I'm fifteen, and for about a year or two, my left eye has been hurting whenever I'm about to get sick. It kind of hurts right now, and I feel a little sick but I think it's because of low blood sugar. But yeah, it only starts to hurt whenever I'm going to throw up. It's like a warning sign for me, after it starts to hurt I get a migraine, then I feel sick and throw up. The reason I don't think I'm about to get sick was because I was sick last Thursday and Friday. And of course, my left eye hurt. It's never my right eye, or both eyes. Why does this happen and should I be worried? Ugh, sorry about the big space. Damn iPad. Anyway, it feels like... Something is pushing the back of my eye kind of. Like it has pressure on it, or just sore. And everytime that it hurts I WILL throw up. Every time... M.S runs n my family, my mom has it and I'm the first born daughter. She gets bad migraines but never has eye pain... Please help!

  • Answer:

yes, as a sufferer of migraines, this is most likely a premonitory sign that a migraine is on its way. I don't think there is anything to do about it other than accept it as part of your migraine syndrome.
