What to put in a memory box.?

I have 3. 1 is mine and the other two are my children's. I have things in my box that have meant something to me at that point in my life. I have art work I did from the 7th grade, letters from friends, accomplishments I have done over the years. I have money from all over the world/places I've been, a flower given by an old bf. Anything that means anything to you. My children's boxes have report cards, valentines from classmates, one box has first hair cut hair, belly buttons, first socks, shoes and even a first backpack (the thing is too cute). These boxes are for you, so what is important to you now it what is best to put in the box. I love this idea, it lets you know what was important to you at that stage in your life....always a great trip down memory lane. *side note, I would forgo anything negative, why ruin a good walk down memory lane with the bad?

memory boxes evolve it starts with something simple and you keep adding i have one the first thing i put in it was a small cookie bag it was valentines day, he bought me a heart shaped cookie on a stick with a love heart on the bag i kept it many many years later i still have it and a hundred other things besides my box evolved into a chest in our bedroom we get everything out and have a look great memories
