Why doesn't my updated relationship status NOT show up on facebook timeline?

I recently changed my relationship status. I accepted it from my girlfriend. On her timeline it shows the updated status, my picture, etc. But, when I looked on my timeline, its not even there. I still get notifications about people liking it, but its just bugging me out because it is supposed to show. Even the relationship status' that changed before are not showing up. My profile is set on 'Friends Only' so I don't know why its not showing.
