Can i read books on my MacBook like you can with the new iPad?

Get Macbook Air or get Ipad 3?

• I know. It's probably an endless discussion. But tear my hair and call me Simon, I find it so difficult to come to a conclusion! This is my only 2 options. It will be either the new iPad or Macbook Air 13 ". I'm TIRED of Windows and will never go back to it. Could use other people's views on the matter. My mind runs over the same things over and over again, and i dont seem to come any closer to make a decision. Here are the things i need the device for: - Connect with external media (external HDD, flash drive, sd card) - Play music in lossless formats. - Take notes (not secondary) - Directions. - Amateur music production. - Read e-books. - See movies.

  EASILY I PAD 3! mac book air is just as good as any other 400$ netbook, except its 1000$. my brother has the ipad 1 and still cant put it down since he got it a long time ago. he watches tons of movies and reads books. since i pad is an ipod also, it can play music extremely well, notepads etc etc They are both bandwagons though..
