How it is living in a flat with room share?

How old is too old for children to share a room?

  • Believe me I do feel bad that my sons have to share a room but our living situation does not give us many options, we live in a mobil home and it only allows two bedrooms. My sons are 15 and 16 and they still have to share a bed because the room is not big enough for two beds. Should I set up a place in the living room for one of them to sleep? Do you think they're too old to still have to share a room? Or do you even think there is a problem here. Their dad brought it too my attention that they might be too old to share a bed and I didn't think it was a problem but I guess it is?

    Same sex children can share a room till they move out when they are grown up. I shared with my brother till I moved out. I had neighbors will 6 boys who shared a dorm style attic room all together, Only in recent years do people believe they are entitled to their own space.

A couch bed can be nice, and the privacy too. Otherwise they can share a room until they move out.. if they don't say it bothers them, then don't worry about it. But on the other hand your husband brought it up, maybe one of the kids told him? I would have one sleep in the living room if they wanted to... no TV at night though, interferes with sleep and that interferes with education. They are the same sex. If it was co then I would suggest otherwise.
