How old is too old for children to share a room?
-
Believe me I do feel bad that my sons have to share a room but our living situation does not give us many options, we live in a mobil home and it only allows two bedrooms. My sons are 15 and 16 and they still have to share a bed because the room is not big enough for two beds. Should I set up a place in the living room for one of them to sleep? Do you think they're too old to still have to share a room? Or do you even think there is a problem here. Their dad brought it too my attention that they might be too old to share a bed and I didn't think it was a problem but I guess it is?

Answer:
hmm....its a mobile home so i'm thinking a bit small.... i'm 18 and still share a room with my 13 yr old sister. Same bed actually and we have no problems. But our room is prolly bigger than your sons. I don't think there's anything wrong or bad about them having to share a room. And like you said, ur living situation doesn't really give you much option. PErhaps you should have a chat with your sons and see if they're ok with still sharing. I know we would all ike our own privacy and your sons may prefer to have a room of their own but it is a mobile home. They might not like sharing it too much but as long as they're ok with it and can bear with it, i don't think u rlly have a problem. So just talk with them ^^

Way to old to be sharing the same bed. Bunk beds are ok. :)

my bros are 16 (twins) and they still share a room. but they have different beds. if the room is too small for 2 beds, then maybe you should consider bunk beds or a loft with a futon underneath or something. you should ask them what they prefer to do!

This sounds like a Michael Jackson question.

after 8 years they should not be allowed to share a room with parents because it not good to have something at night, they will disturb privacy of parents.
