What is the best Cinema school in Paris?

Make-up Designory, Cinema Makeup School, or Joe Blasco?

  • I am trying to choose the best makeup school and I've found three to pick from. Does anyone have any opinions or facts as to which school you think is best? Either, Make-up Designory (MUD) Cinema Makeup School or Joe Blasco Makeup Training Center Which one is the best? or do you have any other options? I'm leaning more to Make-up Designory, but it's a lot more expensive than the others. Thank you!

    depends! what type of makeup do you want to learn? fx? bridal? fashion? tv/commercial? cinema makeup school would be perfect for the tv/commercial, fashion, fx end. makeup designory would be good for all of it, BUT they do have specific courses to learn the specific field you want to go into after. joe blasco, right on the site, movies, fx makeup. awesome! i really think you should consider which school is best for you based on which subject you want to choose to learn. all 3 schools i hear are really good. YET! expensive. i tried to go to mud, but it was 10 thousand dollars.... waaay too much. right now im just taking a theater makeup class at a community college. im still learning things that i didnt know, and its forcing me to practice each week and be creative. although you'll get the most benefit out of a real school, like the ones you've listed, i just recommend looking at all aspects of choosing the school for you. price, subject you want to learn, most beneficial. goodluck and have fun =)

I looked at all three schools and ended up attending Cinema Makeup School. It was the best decision i ever made for my career! I took the master makeup course there which includes everything from beauty to special FX makeup. I graduated last year and I have been getting gigs non-stop! I have never turned down a job because i felt that i didnt know how to do something. You learn everything at CMS! Best makeup school by far! :)
