How would you make orphan Annie's red dress?
-
I'm in a theatrical play that stars Annie. I have less than a week to assemble a red dress that looks similar. The dress has a white collar, a white belt, and just a red dress. The dress looks sorta vintage and baby doll like. I could buy the fabrics, but I don't know how to make one. Please help, I'm begging. I just need some help or even some suggestions. Please and thankyou! I greatly appreciate this.

I wouldn't try making the dress that will take way to long even if you knew what you were doing. Go to a salvation army or rescue mission they have lot of vintage looking dresses and you might be able to find a red one. As far as the belt and collar goes you can easily find a white belt anywhere and use that and buy a white collared shirt that is form fitting and where is under the dress just have the collar stick out of the top. Good luck, and congrats on the lead!

go to goodwill seriously. go there and find some type of dress that would work as an orphan. trust me theres plenty there. then get some tights and rip some holes in them. and go to payless or something to get those mary jane shoes. tada orphan :)
