Where can I get cheap, good quality earbuds?

Headphones/earbuds sound help?

  • I very recently bought a brand new pair of Skullcandy Earbuds, to use for my computer; I never play music on speaker 'cause no one wants to hear it. Anyway, the problem is that whenever I plug said earbuds into the laptop, I get a fuzzy/static-like noise when idle, and a chippy-beepy sound when I go to play a music file, as if there's already an audio track playing out. If I press mute, it goes away, yeah, but... it's just really annoying. And if I should mention, this started after I got a Logitech H150 headset; I had to fiddle with the computer's setting to get the mic to work, though the sound quality of said headset ain't really too good. I tried plugging the earbuds into two different jacks (both headphone jacks) but I just get the same sound. It's only this time because I've used Skullcandies/other earbuds with this computer before and this has -never- happened. Can anybody help me with this?? :c

  • Answer:

The problem is your laptop. It's not putting the correct audio signals into the headphone jacks. I would take it to a computer repair shop.
