Why is the Taj Mahal considered romantic when...?

• The taj mahal is considered a symbol of love and hundreds of people have proposed there . it has also been visited by the likes of oprah and arnold shcwazenger but..... mumtaj was shah jahan's THIRD wife she was 14 when betrothed, 16 when she married him, he was 49, already married with kids once he married mumtaj, he ignored his other wives he didn't build a taj mahal for his other wives (he didnt treat his wives equally) he used state money to fund the building which was very extravagant he cut off the hands of the architects and artists who worked on the taj mahal so that they wouldnt replicate it elsewhere
