Feel like dropping out of college....?
-
I'm 19 and I am currently in college and everyday I feel like dropping out of college but I really don't want to and I just don't want this to effect my life. I just can't seem to find the motivation to stay in college. I don't have a job so that's even worse and I applied at so many places I just have no luck at all. I am truly a hard worker and really fast paced. I had a temp job unloading a truck and I love it but it was only temporary. I just don't get how why I can't get a job. Everyone else gets the job. I know what to do during an interview I'm very professional, I dress nicely, i wear a shirt and tie, dress pants and black shiny shoes and wear very little cologne. I answer all the questions quick and responsive. They always say they'll give a call back, but they never do. Even at the places hiring I can't even get a job. I've been doing good at the start of the semester and I missed two days and Everything went down hill from there, I couldn't keep up with the homework. I feel like I have so many distractions and I'm on my laptop way to much. I just can't get over myself. I really hate homework and just thinking that college is optional I just let everything slide. I keep telling myself i don't have to go to school. I'm always doing homework last minute. and most of the time i don't even do it. I don't want to have to go to school when Im 40. I've seen people in my class that are way older than me. I don't want to be one of them. I was thinking of starting fresh next semester, this is only my first. I guess I'm just so focused on getting a car that's what I really want but I need a job. Sometimes I think that the car will really boost my motivation I don't know why i think that. I always have to walk to the bus stop and I'm really sick of that. Thats another thing why I'm losing motivation. It was always because it was cold that i hated walking but now that its getting warmer It'll be better hopefully. Well I know some of this might be long and confusing but at least give me some advice because i know that dropping out may not be a good thing. i just feel that i would rather have a job. Thanks to those who actually read this I really appreciate it.

Answer:
Dont do it. With todays econony uts realky hard ti find jobs. I dropped out ar 21. I went back at 25 and finished last year. Im 27 now. While i regret nothing I would have gotten farther earlier. Think about your future. Not the present. In ten years the things that are important to you now will not be. Stay in school. Try online classes if you dont like commuting to school. I went to Penn State onlibe. A lot of of goid options. Good luck bud

One cannot get far in today's world without a college degree. Just remember that any job you can apply for with a college degree is ten times better than a job you can get now. Believe in yourself and work your butt off in your studies. You won't regret it! Cheer up! You can do it! :) Good luck.
