Is there a way to prevent an unlisted YouTube video from being shared on a social site?
-
Hi! I have been asked to put a video from a company event up on YouTube so that it can be placed on a hidden sub page of my company's site. The video is "unlisted." The concern, then is that the video could be then shared on Facebook or Twitter. Is there a way to prevent the social sharing of YouTube videos?

Answer:
I don't think so. You can make it private and state specifically which youtube users can view it, but if it is just private then everyone with the link can view it.

yes, you can disable this go on the page of your video while you're signed in click "edit info" on the left of the page above your video then click "settings" in the "video responses" column of the settings, uncheck "External sites may embed this video." and "save changes" remember this doesn't prevent people you sent the link to, to send the link to other people
