Can a step parent ever get custody of me?

I am being harrassed by step parent what should i do?

  • both parent s are abusive and one may be mentally unstable the step parent is always making insults made to harm me mentally an emotionally when they go somewhere he takes every source of entertainment and leaves me home inn the dark he has physically abused me and my brother in the past how can i get cps to remove his kids fromhis and his mos custody ? they are at risk o being abused in the same way me and my brother have been continually abused over the last 5 years an help is appreciated thank you... :(

telling your mother might not change anything because if she is one of them really stupid mothers she will take his side over yours.. you have limited options.. such as having any relatives to live with.or know any adult male relives that can come over all the time and intimidate your step father. but if that cant happen then just set him up keep anything you see him do such as smoking drugs /stealing or anything else call the cops.. if he is abusive then he actually can be charged as child abuse .. most of the time kids are to scared to call the cops ..if you dont do anything about it other then move out when you are 18 nothing will change

seriously just call the police next time he physically abuses you. if he verbally abuses u, talk to a school counselor. my mom was like that to me, i know how u feel. hang in there.

If it is as bad as it sounds, then go straight to your local social work department and ask to be taken into care.
