How to become a hedge fund manager?

• What steps should I take if I want to become a hedge fund manager? I am about to graduate from high school and head off to college. I plan to major in finance or economics. I understand all the trading techniques used in the hedge fund industry and understand that specific funds usually specialize or have expertise in a certain type of investing strategy such as currency exchange, shorting stocks, commodities etc. I have invested in the stock market using several different strategies and have achieved a return rate of 18% over 3 months and that rate is continuing to rise. Any advice on where to go from here and what steps to take to eventually land a job in the hedge fund industry would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
