How facebook promotion works?

  • Hi, I know very little about facebook. I own a online store and know you should give people an option to share items at my store with their friends on facebook. Please look at the fallowing link http://www.everything4scrapbooking.com/Shop-by-Manufacturer/Pink-Paislee/Picket-Fence-Double-Sided-Paper.html and tell me if the facebook like link and the facebook link on it are for the same thing or two different facebook related things. If they do the same thing I will get rid of one. If they do different things I want to keep them both. Thanks for the help everyone.

    The facebook like will post the webpage they like on their newsfeed/ticker, so friends will go directly to your website, the page link will abviously just send them straight to your faceook page
