I would say Just lie and tell them you do. I worked in a restaurant for 6 years now, and when I first got hired as a server, do you think I had experience?? No Way!! How else was I going to get experience? Only by doing it. So the best way is to lie and say you have experience, but just say only a year or so. But if thats not the field you are interested in working in.. I found a cool website called SideSkills.com. You post an online resume, and employers can seek you out or you can seek out jobs that interest you. You list all your skills and what not, and people search you based on that. Say I need a photographer for a photo shoot. I go on sideskills and type in photographer, and a bunch of names pop up and you can see how many years experience they have and you can make offers and find who will work best with you. I say take the job you are talking about, but also sign up with this new site.. its going to be the future of "Finding a job". It blows craigslist and monster out of the water. Good luck!!
