How to delete toolbar?

How do I completely delete an unwanted Russian toolbar?

  • It is called mail.ru, and it came on our computer when we downloaded some mobile related software from a site. I have: 1. searched the computer for the files relating to the toolbar and deleted them (all but one, which couldn't be deleted) 2. run a full computer scan, no threats detected 3. tried to remove the toolbar in Mozilla Firefox, it no longer appears in the lists of toolbars but still remains. 4. looked in add/remove programs, not there. I cannot uninstall it on the program itself, because everything's in Russian. Is there any way to permanently delete this toolbar? Thanks for your help.

    Try using Revo Unistaller : http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html , the free version. Download, install and run Revo. Look inside the list if there's anything related to that toolbar. In any case, if Revo can't find it, you can keep Revo as for other uninstalling process, because it can delete the whole thing right into registry. Another thing you can try is, re-installing the Mozilla Firefox. Which the best way would be, using the Revo so it can delete the whole thing.. with no trace at all. You can say that it would be a fresh firefox installation. Just remember to copy all your bookmarks and remember all your firefox add-on.
