How to rewrite URL in HTTPS?

Netgear block url problem how can u make https permanent in a URL?

  • well to avoid a netgear block u just need to type https then the web address like https://www.......com. but if you open the 1st page and then go to other page(2 nd page) the netgear block will come agian and to open second page u have to type https again in the url so it is kind of boring stuff to type it for every page and reload it again. So is there a way I could make https permanent in the url?..btw i use G crome, opera and firefox so solution for any 1 of the browser will do :)

do you need to block the regular http??? if not then undo the netgear block and adjust it for certain sites, otherwise google: permanant https searching in chrome/opera/ff (whichever u use most often)

There is an FF plugin for that https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2010/06/encrypt-web-https-everywhere-firefox-extension read about Google https everywhere on the same page.
