My Desktop Computer won't turn on?

My Gateway desktop computer will no longer turn on.?

• My family's desktop computer is a Gateway model number GM5688E. We've had it for about four years, it had been working fine up until yesterday, but today the computer will not turn on. No light goes on, no fans power up, no boot-up, nothing. Everything else plugged into the power strip it's plugged into (our wireless router, printer, and monitor) all turn on and work, I've tried plugging it in different plugs and switching out the power strips, it's not the problem. Checked the AC plug, it's fine. My father even tested the voltage on it and it still outputs electricity. It's not the inside of the computer since it's free of dust and all wires are connected and look fine. I tried calling the Gateway Customer Support phone number located on the tower, but humorously I get some kind of shopping network instead. Tried going to the Gateway website, and tried inputting the serial number for the system but the website wouldn't recognize it (it's 13 alphanumeric digits and they wanted a 22 digit code), so at this point I'm not really sure what to try to do, as I'm not really tech-savvy.

  It is possible that the power supply has died. If you lack technical ability you will have to take it to PC repair shop.
